The Anesthesia Toolbox is a Learning Community of Anesthesia residents, fellows, academic faculty and lifelong learners. The toolbox provides high quality peer-reviewed educational resources to support both learners and instructors and has been collaboratively developed by over 45 leading anesthesia departments around the world. Educational materials include e-learning modules, quiz questions, PBLDs, podcasts, simulation scripts, procedural skills training guides, competency assessments, a video/image library and much more. These materials are resources to be browsed by learners or can be used by training programs to create curricula and track learner progress. The Anesthesia Toolbox also contains community crowd-sourced “wiki cases” with discussions on strategies for case management and “Ask a Clinical Question” where members can post questions and receive feedback from the community. In addition, the Toolbox offers on-line problem-based discussions and journal clubs.
